The Zacate Creek Green District Coalition has kicked off the restoration of Las Palmas with Azteca Residents. Led by ecologist Dr. Amede Rubio and Project Manger Roque Haynes, residents participated in a workshop to learn about invasive and native plant species in the Las Palmas and Zacate Creek areas. This project is part of a collaboration between the Zacate Creek Green District Coalition and Azteca neighborhood residents to restore and beautify these important spaces.
